Hello there, nice to see you again.
It's the 1st of November today, which means the November issue of Dolls House & Miniature Scene magazine is now out and I am so honoured to be in the cover among all these amazing artists.
In this issue you'll find an extract of my book, Miniature Cake Creations, where I teach how how to make a melting ice-cream cone cake using polymer clay. You can display it in your miniature bakery or dolls house, or you can deconstruct the cake and make individual items to make jewellery with or single miniatures.
Dolls House & Miniature Scene magazine is also giving you a chance to win a copy of my book, so if you'd like to get your hands on one, you'll know all there is to know about how to enter the competition when you order the magazine (printed and digital copies available) as well as how to enter other competitions and get to know all these other miniature artists and their wonderful work.
To get a copy of DHMS magazine, all you have to do is click here.
In case you missed my previous news:
My book Miniature Cake Creations came out on 7th October. You can find out more about it on my blog post and order a copy here.
Recently I collaborated with Katie Dean on a guest blog post about getting started with polymer clay. This includes general tools, materials and baking your clay. You can read the 3 part blog post here.
I worked on a witch's cauldron cake tutorial for last month's issue of Dolls House & Miniature Scene magazine which you can order following the link aforementioned.
I think that's all from me today.
I hope you had a wonderful Halloween and enjoyed trick or treating with your kids if you have any, I don't so I have to buy my own candy ^_^
Have a lovely, crafty weekend!
Lots of love, Mai
